Senior Performance Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

Your role
You will own Performance Marketing for two brands focused on higher education and lifelong learning: studddy and kursfinder. Your primary focus is on scalable lead generation across an existing click and lead funnel. You work in a data-driven way, continuously test new approaches, and further develop our campaign structure in close collaboration with an external agency.
What you'll do
• You own our Performance Marketing with a clear focus on lead generation, taking responsibility not just for campaigns but for key business KPIs (e.g. lead volume, quality, and revenue contribution)
• You further develop our paid strategy (currently mainly Google & Meta) and manage execution together with an agency
• You manage and challenge our external agency as a strategic sparring partner
• You own and optimize our funnel end-to-end – from the first click to the qualified lead
• You make data-driven decisions, create reports, prioritize the most impactful levers, and drive sustainable growth
• You work closely with internal teams and international stakeholders across Keystone Education Group and proactively move topics forward
• You actively contribute to the development of our platforms by evolving the paid strategy in line with our international setup
What you bring
• You have at least 5 years of experience in performance marketing and can not only execute campaigns but also build and develop them strategically
• You have proven experience managing or scaling lead generation and understand how to identify the right levers along the funnel
• You think holistically and take ownership of paid channels, prioritizing the right levers and making well-informed decisions with growth and efficiency in mind
• You are able to bridge strategy and execution: you can work hands-on in tools but don’t get lost in operational details
• You bring a strong understanding of lead quality and downstream processes
• You make decisions based on data and know when to test, optimize, or scale
• You have experience managing and challenging agencies—not just operationally, but also strategically
• You are confident in evaluating marketing spend, efficiency, and revenue contribution, and can discuss these at a solid level with finance and management
• You take ownership, work in a structured way, keep an overview even in complex setups, and drive topics forward independently
• You understand performance in the context of content, SEO, and product, as well as within an international environment
• You are fluent in German and English
German is the primary working language for this position
Nice to have
• You have worked in transformation phases or actively contributed to building or scaling platforms
• You are familiar with lead-based business models—ideally in the education sector
• You are comfortable working with conversion-focused funnel setups (e.g. Heyflow or similar tools)
• You have experience in international setups or working with global platforms
• You bring a solid understanding of tracking, attribution, and CRM processes
