As a Platform Integrations Engineer, you’ll play a vital role at UniQuest. Data is at the heart of our platform and shapes the decisions we make to deliver the best possible customer service experiences. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance the services we deliver. As a Platform Integrations Engineer you should enjoy all aspects data management and integrations using ETL methods and tools.
As a member of our growing Technical Solutions Team you must be comfortable communicating, prioritising and managing all aspects of Platform Integrations. As you will be working remotely most of the time with you should be self driven, proactive, detail oriented, inquisitive, analytical and resourceful. We regularly meet virtually as a team and collaborate throughout the day but the ability to priortise support tickets and complete tasks without constant supervision is essential. Previous experience with tools such as Jitterbit, Zapier, FormAssembly and Akero is desireable and experience with ETL integrations is essential.
Responsibilities:
This is a varied business facing role, with the following responsibilities:
- Responding to support tickets from internal stakeholders, performing analysis, information gathering, troubleshooting and escalations while communicating via service desk tickets or virtual calls.
- Reviewing data mapping documentation to determine the appropriate configuration approach and feeding back to the implementation team.
- Working with senior engineers to support them with the design of integrations.
- Configuring ETL data flows between various endpoints and Salesforce using declarative middleware tools and some scripting languages.
- Supporting testing of integrations prior to deployment in production.
- Manually importing data into Salesforce based on predefined templates and schema.
- Monitoring on-going processes and correcting/escalating any issues that occur.
- Reviewing procedures regularly and play a key role in identifying and implementing continuous improvements to streamline and enhance current processes.

- Raise any issues experiences with data capture, accuracy and quality.
- Adhere to all tests for loading of data to ensure the integrity of the data in the system.
- Oversee SFTP site management for client-side batch import process.
- Additional ad hoc tasks relating to the data management requirements of the platform.
- Preparing technical and functional documentation.
- Data management and manipulation in Excel including Vlookups.
- Support the Technical Solutions team objectives of developing the UniQuest platform.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
- Inquisitive, analytical and resourceful.
- Familiarity with data integration middleware and ETL processes.
- Experience with integration middleware tools such as Zapier, Jitterbit, Informatica, Mulesoft etc.
- Self driven with ability to prioritise your own tasks.
- Able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Collaborative, supportive and responsive.
- Adept at performing technical and detail oriented tasks.
- Comfortable working without direct supervision.
- A quick and proactive learner.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, objects, metadata and schemas.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Higher Education, Recruitment or Admissions.
- Some exposure to building forms on platforms such as Akero, Gecko or FormAssembly.
- Salesforce product knowledge and Salesforce Administration with hands-on experience with Sales Cloud.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Platform App Builder or demonstratable proactive learning via Trailhead, training courses or personal projects.
