Yearly salary - £30,000-£35,000
Are you a dynamic marketing professional who takes pride in creating and optimising data-informed campaigns? Are you apt at building mutually beneficial partnerships that hit engagement targets? Are you looking for a new marketing role where you can truly shine?
If you’re nodding your head, then we want you! We’re after a highly motivated Student Marketing and Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic team. In the fast and ever-moving higher education sector, you’ll plan, deliver and evaluate integrated student marketing campaigns that promote our flagships brands to students, universities and journalists.
We’re the postgraduate experts so it’s our job to support potential students with their Masters and PhD choices, and universities around the world with their postgraduate recruitment goals. With your savvy marketing know-how, you’ll do everything it takes to hit our targets around site traffic, social media performance, audience growth and registrations for our subscription services and events! And, with your ability to spot mutually beneficial opportunities, you’ll build lasting partnerships with customers and peers that help create value for our audiences and theirs.
No two days will be the same but you’ll be in control of what you’re working on. One day you could be planning a campaign that increases brand awareness amongst current undergraduate students, the next you could be reaching out to journalists around unique research from our audience!
Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Use market insights and data analysis to build and execute integrated tactical student marketing plans which reach agreed strategic targets and ensure professional brand standards and key messaging is upheld.
- Plan, develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that cover both offline (study fairs and other events) and online (social, PPC, SEO, web, email) channels and manage budgets accordingly.
- Measure performance of marketing campaigns, gaining insight, assessing against goals, and making optimisations accordingly. Write and present reports on marketing activities and results.
- Line manage and support junior colleagues to develop, execute and evaluate marketing activity that hits targets and develops their professional skillset.
- Manage external supplier and partner relationships with media and advertising agencies/companies, taking a holistic view across student marketing to maximise cost savings.
- Check, improve, proof, and provide a critical eye for all marketing assets and copywriting ensuring brand tone and guidelines are adhered to.
- Identify and cultivate opportunities for media and partner outreach to strengthen the reach and authority of the FindAMasters and FindAPhD brands, supported by the Head of Student Engagement and Development and Director of Audience and Insight.
- Work with Head of Student Engagement and Development to shape a long-term annual marketing and outreach plan for FindAMasters and FindAPhD.
Who are we looking for?
We’re after a confident and creative marketer who is able to spot opportunities to optimise campaigns and takes pride in the quality of their work. You’ll be inspired by the opportunity to develop and deploy your expertise to a broad audience and be interested in putting your marketing and PR knowledge into creating genuinely useful opportunities for our brands.
