Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate who has a strong understanding of international education systems and international student recruitment practices. Additional certifications in leadership, sales, or project management would be a plus.
What will be the tasks?
- Oversee daily operations of Account Managers and Executives, offering support, coaching and guidance to ensure top performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and address challenges to ensure the team meets sales and account management targets
- Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at increasing student recruitment through partnerships with agents and institutions.
- Set and monitor individual and team sales targets in collaboration with management.
- Identify new market opportunities to drive revenue growth and ensure targets are consistently met.
- Manage your own portfolio of agents and recruitment partners, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring both account retention and revenue growth.
- Support your team in strengthening relationships with agents.
- Track and report on sales performance and team KPIs, using CRM and data analysis to optimize processes and improve results.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales and account management, CRM usage, and agent follow-ups.
- Innovate processes within the sales and account management functions to drive better outcomes.
- Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate training programs focused on both sales techniques and account management best practices.
- Foster a collaborative, growth-focused work environment.
- Liaise with marketing, admissions, and product teams to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies and enhance outcomes.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex client issues and ensure timely conflict resolution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities in the international education market.
What is your background?
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field (required).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in account management and sales, or student recruitment, ideally within international education sector.
- Leadership experience managing a team, setting targets, and driving performance.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM) and proficiency in using data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with agents, students, and internal teams.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Analytical and problem-solving skills focused on meeting KPIs and optimizing both sales and account management processes.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, admissions, and other teams to align recruitment strategies.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal); additional languages (a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience in the international education sector, particularly in recruiting students from diverse regions.
- Fluency in additional languages, especially those spoken in key recruitment regions (e.g., Tagalog, Mandarin, Vietnamese).
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience working with global recruitment agents in multi-cultural environment.
- Familiarity with visa processes and international student mobility trends.
- Track record of improving processes and achieving growth through innovative strategies in recruitment or sales.
