As a Business Controller you are responsible for the company's financial planning, analysis, and internal control. One is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the company's financial performance by providing insights, advice, and analyses to the management and other business leaders. This role will be key for the Keystone Agents business unit operating across Europe and in Southeast Asia.

Area of responsibility

Budget and Forecast

· Prepare annual budgets and financial forecast in collaboration with business leaders.

· Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast.

Business Analysis

· Analyze and track financial progress towards defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

· Analyze the company’s business result and interpret financial data and trends to provide recommendations to business leaders.

· Conduct scenario analysis and other ad hoc analysis.

Financial Reporting

· Prepare and present financial reports to business leaders.

· Identify and explain significant financial variances in the financial reporting to management.

Business Support

· Provide financial insights and support to management and other stakeholders.

· Work closely with different departments to gather and analyze financial data, identify improvement areas and drive cross-team success.

Internal Control

· Identify and evaluate risks and propose actions to manage these risks.

· Collaborate with different departments to ensure compliance with internal controls.

Project Work

· Participate in projects related to finance and business management, for example implementation of new financial software or business systems.

· Develop and implement routines to optimize the company's financial reporting.

Qualifications

· A degree in economics, business administration, or a related discipline.

· Several years of experience working with financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into insights.

· Good knowledge of accounting and accounting principles.

· Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other financial tools.

· Ability to communicate, in English, complex information in a simple and clear manner. Norwegian and other languages (Spanish, German) are a plus but not required.

· Strong ability to collaborate with other departments and serve as an advisor to management.
